We believe that immigration processes should be easy, straightforward and intuitive. Unfortunately, Immigration New Zealand has many precise rules and the regulations are constantly changing.

This is why our Immigration Team is constantly reviewing immigration policy and law to ensure that, when you engage with us, your move is as stress-free as possible.

Currently our Immigration Team is headed by Chris Jury. Chris Jury is a Senior Solicitor at Waimak Law and has a wide range of experience in various Immigration Applications.

Chris has acted for clients in all types of applications including skilled migrant residence, partnership, and investment category visas.

Beyond this, Chris has experience in compliance issues and has assisted clients who are unlawfully in New Zealand to gain further visas without having to return home.

Chris has also assisted clients to become recognized as refugees and enjoys the particular challenges this work offers.

He is assisted by Cherry Mo. Cherry Mo is a Solicitor in our Christchurch Office and speaks Cantonese and Mandarin.
